End of A Year are from Albany, NY and sound like a band on Dischord from the 90's. I saw them open for Have Heart and thought "their songs are ok...but damn that singer is awesome talking between songs. a gentleman after my own heart." Came upon their advice for bands and agree with almost everything.

iron rain digest. august 2010
Hello internet! Put some clothes on.
So we've been doing a lot of writing over at the spot AKA the sweat box AKA james farn's apt. New songs are getting hashed out, argued about, fist bumped about, and shadow moshed about. They are really, really good. You think I'm shitbulling you? NOPE.
So we have played a few shows this summer but have way more shit planned for fall/winter. St. Louis, quad cities, richmond, baltimore, philly, long island....we commin fa dat ass! We will have a new shirt design in the works. Evil. Not in the way that most bands put a pentagram or a skull on their merch and deem it evil. This is more like "oh my god I can't believe that's real and someone would pay to adorn their body with it." Evil. Windbreakers for ultimate throwback mo$h. Big ups to our favorite people we've met in the past few months: mike the gook (of gook klux klan), jorge (smokin weed at a childrens birthday party near you) joey shithead (too many attributes to list) and the man we get out of bed every day for JESSE THE BOOTS ELECTRIC.

Haven't rapped at ya' in a while...
Hey Internet. Been a while since we told you the what-for. Here's what we've been up to:
-Met the Boots Electric of Eagles of Death metal fame in LA. Got his phone number. Subsequently became obsessed with him. Mastering his shimmy on the daily.
-Did a four day trip with Nothing to Nothing (Columbia, MO) Awesome dudes who showed us the finer points of stealing from big box stores. Shared many RICK TA LIFE stories.
-Half way through writing new songs for our LP on Panic records. SHIT WILL DROP WHEN IT'S READY TO DROP.
-Lawrence got a job as a personal trainer. He helps goth girls in HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES t-shirts master chest flys. Continues his EAT. HATE. LIFT. REPEAT. regimen.
-July 11th we are playing with an up and coming young band called THE FUCKING CRO-MAGS AND SHIT! Minneapolis is hosting a rager weekend including Merauder, Trapped Under Ice, On, and our ol' chi-city buddies, The Killer.
-Joining us from now on is "Movin Units" Brock and tour manager Davis. Brock managed to successfully force a street-wear obsessed girl in Buffalo to buy one of our tank tops. She didn't know anything about hardcore but had a firm grasp on hoop earrings and day-glo colors. Davis mastered the art of cock-blocking and wearing euro-bikini underwear. Ask him about "getting into the business."
We have way more stories I'll post later on. See you in Minneapolis!
